TAT was started by long standing technology journalist Andrew Miller (Spode). The writers on this site are all in the technology industry, primarily PRs and technology journalists with a spattering of industry insiders and field experts. The current writers on TAT are:
Andrew Spode Miller, Karl Buckland, James Dean, Gareth Ogden, Maximus, Chris Owen, Gordon Kelly, Andrzej Bania, LG Nilsson, Chris Frost, MrPineapple, Chris Lee, Trust Ed, Phil Hartup, Dan Monsieurle, Kevin Taylor, Ash Matadeen, cokehabit, Kerry Gaffney, Alex Pullin, Ric Roberts, alishabenson, KendrickWe encourage you to read their profiles to see what they do and what they have done, so you can decide for yourself if their opinions are worth listening to and what possible bias they might have.
Do you think you have opinions that people would enjoy reading? Then why not write for us?
TAT is not a publication in the traditional sense. There is no editing, no censorship and no pressure on what should be written. The result is that all the content you read is what the writer is truly passionate about and their real opinions - not the voice of a company or a publication. If a writer wants to write something sensationalist or poorly written - the only risk is that of their own reputation.
We realise that some people might have a conflict of interest writing about their specific sector, in which case we encourage writers to side-step an issue and write about a different topic if they feel that they can't give an honest answer.
The underlying principle is that instead of having opinions spattered around the web on small blogs that never get read, we bring all of these into one place so that anyone can read opinions that count, from people that matter.
All of the opinions on the site are that of the authors and not the site itself - there is no global editorial opinion. Unless stated otherwise, opinions are not of the companies individuals represent. If you feel there is something wrong, or illegal about what is being written - we ask that you contact the writer in question. Nobody else is liable for the content on this site and only the writer has the ability to modify or remove their own posts. Any product samples requested on behalf of TAT will be the liability of the requester and not TAT.
The design of this is site is down to Karl Buckland. The wonderful logo was designed by Ben Cardy. The main code of the site is based on Lussumo Vanilla and uses extensions written by various people that have been modified to our needs, including BlogThis, TweakThis, TagThis, FeedThis and GuestPost which are written by Spode.
